About Mariah
Mariah was born and raised in the mountains of West Virginia. She graduated from W.V.U. in education and taught school there for three years before moving to Maine. In Maine, she pursued a variety of jobs before once again becoming involved in education. She worked in JVS middle-school for nearly twenty years—some of which were the most joyful times in her working career. Mariah loved teaching and retiring was a mixed bag. While she is enjoying her retirement, she still misses teaching from time to time.

Mariah began writing poems and short stories (and one very convoluted novel) when she was sixteen and has been writing ever since. She’s published several short stories and poems but The Endless Song is her first novel. Much of her inspiration comes from her dreams. She shares her home with her partner and two cats.
